PREMIUM PROCESSING HAS RESUMED FULLY!
As of today, Tuesday, March 12, 2019, United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) will resume premium processing on those petitioners who properly filed for their H1B benefit and properly requested for premium processing service.
When an H-1B petitioner properly requests the premium processing service, USCIS guarantees a 15-day processing time. USCIS also guarantees that if they have not processed the request and reached a decision within 15-calendar days, they will refund the petitioner’s premium processing service fee but will continue with expedited processing of the petition.
Transferred H-1B Petition
USCIS is making it very clear that if a petitioner received a transfer notice for their pending H-1B petition, and the petitioner is requesting premium processing service, the petitioner must submit the premium processing request to the service center that is now handling the petition. Petitioner is also required to include a copy of the transfer notice with the premium processing request to avoid any delays.
The premium processing clock will not start until the premium processing request has been received at the correct center.
Also, if petitioner received any request for evidence (RFE), petitioner must include a response to the RFE with the premium processing request.
